Transition Policy ISO 22000:2018

ISO 22000:2005 has been superseded with ISO 22000:2018. All existing certifications will be audited against ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 22000:2018. BCert will require an extra day to audit against ISO 22000:2018 to complete the transition.

BCert will no longer issue certificates against ISO 22000:2005 from 19.06.2020 and ISO 22000:2005 certificates will not be valid after 19.06.2021.

Any certificate cannot be transitioned to ISO 22000:2018 before 19.06.2021 will have to be audited using the criteria of Stage-2 audit irrespective of the Client’s stage in the certification cycle.
